Maserati Quattroporte celebrates six decades of excellence

KUALA LUMPUR: Maserati is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its super sedan, Quattroporte, entering production ahead of the model's transition to electric power in 2025. The Quattroporte was revealed for the first time at the 1963 Turin Motor Show, and its nameplate has existed for six decades so far. Over the years, it has been equipped with a wide range of V6 and V8 engines.

In the luxury sports saloon world, the Maserati Quattroporte represents a memorable journey. Since the 1960s, it has inspired generations and gained tons of recognition, reflecting the dedication of the Italian car maker to performance and design excellence. With over 75,000 Quattroporte models produced and over a century of history, Quattroporte remains timeless.

The Quattroporte has always been open to innovations. Its first generation saw a racing-derived V8 engine, and the latest version symbolizes speed and luxury. It reflects the skills and shared passion of top designers like Giugiaro, Gandini, Frua, Bertone, and Pininfarina. It has maintained its exclusivity despite the modern innovations.
