Maserati Levante Trofeo Launch Edition now in Malaysia; only 3 units available

KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Italia, the official distributor of Maserati cars in Malaysia, has brought the Levante Trofeo Launch Edition trim. It features one of the most potent engines ever fitted in the brand’s road car and has all the comforts of a prestigious SUV.

Maserati Levante Trofeo Launch Edition is a limited-run model created for the Trofeo. Out of 100 units produced for the global market, three units in a palette of three distinctive colors are available for sale in Malaysia. It includes Blu Emozione Matte, Giallo Modenese, and Rosso Magma; all are accompanied by the Nerissimo package.

Each unit is completely exclusive as it carries a personalized badge on the central console bearing the legendary Trident, along with the Trofeo logo and the words "one of 100". 

At the front, the Levante Trofeo has a front grille with double vertical bars in Black Piano finish, full matrix LED adaptive headlamps, lower honeycomb mesh fascia, body-colored door handles, and high-performance brake calipers. The special carbon fibre inserts on the bumpers, specially designed bonnet and side skirts, further complement the car's look. Moreover, a Trofeo logo is also positioned on the C-pillar of the coupé styled Levante.

Inside, the Levante Trofeo is loaded with several elegant features that create an environment of pure luxury. It includes “Pieno Fiore” leather seats with contrast stitching and “Trofeo” logo embroidered on the headrests matched with distinctive body colors. The on-board setup houses a 1,280-watt, 17-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium surround-sound audio system. Other interior bits like "3D Touch" matte carbon fibre trim, instrument cluster graphics, paddle shifters, floor mats with metal Trofeo badges, and a Maserati clock with a unique dial highlight the sporty personality of the model.

The launch edition SUV carries the same 3.8-litre Twin Turbo V8 engine, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, producing 590 PS of power. It is one of the most powerful engines ever fitted in a Maserati. It can manage a top speed of 304 kmph, while the run from naught to 100 kmph is accomplished in just 3.9 seconds.

The Maserati Levante Trofeo Launch Edition price starts at RM 838,800 (before local duties and taxes). And as mentioned above, only three units are available, so get a hold on one before it's gone.
