Maserati introduces the ultra-exclusive Barbie Grecale, limited to just 2 units
KUALA LUMPUR: Globally introduced in March this year, the all-new Maserati Grecale is the brand’s second SUV after Levante and is offered in three different trims in the global markets viz. GT, Modena, and Trofeo. Well, the pink Grecale you see above is the glammed-up version of the Grecale Trofeo, dubbed as the Barbie Maserati Grecale.

Let’s know the key highlights of this Barbie-inspired version of the Grecale SUV -
- In a true Barbie style, the premium SUV is decked up with an iconic Pink colourway secured with a shimmery coating that exudes a rainbow effect
- There are multiple Barbie badges on the car’s exterior along with a capital 'B' (denoting Barbie) positioned on the C-Pillar
- The custom Maserati also features acid yellow lines, inspired by the brand’s racing heritage
- Inside, we can see a completely black interior with pink accents. The dashboard, doors, and important touchpoints are wrapped in leather
- Also, there is full leather upholstery featuring pink “B” stitching
- As the bespoke Barbie Grecale underpins the Trofeo variant, it is powered by a 3.0-litre Nettuno twin-turbocharged V6 engine kicking out a maximum power output of 523 bhp at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 620 Nm at 3,000 rpm - 5,500 rpm
- Sending power to all four wheels is an eight-speed automatic transmission
- Performance-wise, the car runs from zero to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 285 kmph
