Maserati Grecale prototypes formed a spectacular Trident logo
KUALA LUMPUR: Maserati will be introducing the all-new Grecale SUV next year with much fanfare, but before that, the Italian luxury carmaker spectacularly teased the upcoming SUV. It formed a 100-metre (328-foot) long outline of its Trident logo with the help of 80 Maserati Grecale prototypes.

Maserati Grecale will make its debut sometime in the next year. Currently, it is in testing phase.For that, the prototypes were camouflaged in different hues. The base was created by SUVs wrapped in a blue cover while the top three arrows of the trident were made by white, yellow, and black SUVs. The prototypes were also snapped at the streets of Milan.
The event was organised on November 16, the day on which the Maserati Grecale was originally meant to be revealed. The debut was postponed last month due to some interruptions in the supply chains for the key components, specifically semiconductors, necessary to complete the production process. Well, now the automaker has planned to unveil the SUV sometime in the next year.
Presently, Maserati is involved in testing the SUV. Around 250 development models of Grecale are being tested in several countries, including Japan, the US, UAE, China, Finland, and Italy.
Speaking about the design highlights of the upcoming Grecale, it is expected to get a sporty front end with a bold mesh front grille flanked by LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs. Large alloy wheels and LED tail lights, a rear diffuser, and a quad exhaust system are among the other cosmetic features.
Under the bonnet, the Grecale might be equipped with a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine capable of generating a maximum power output of 510 hp and a peak torque of 600 Nm Another possibility is the Maserati MC20’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 Nettuno mill with 630 hp of power and 730 Nm of torque.
