Malaysia Autoshow 2024: All-new C3 Aircross previewed at the Stellantis booth

KUALA LUMPUR: Stellantis has made its much-anticipated debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024. It was only a while back that the automaker launched the all-new Peugeot 408 in the local market, and it continues to drive people towards it by showcasing a lineup of exciting cars. One such car currently on display at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 is the C3 Aircross.

Jamie Francis Morais, Managing Director, Stellantis Malaysia, said, "We are thrilled to be making our debut at the Malaysia Autoshow. Stellantis isn't just making a pit stop in Malaysia. “We’ve had a fantastic start with the all-new PEUGEOT 408 launch last month with over 300 bookings and counting to date, which is a strong testament to the car’s undeniable appeal. Next, we’re looking at how we can further cater to the different consumer preferences and lifestyles, be it from reviving iconic brands such as Citroën and introducing new ones like Leapmotor for those who want to own an EV in the near future,” added Morais.

Under the Stellantis house of brands, an esteemed name, Citroen, is present. The brand’s return to the local market is much anticipated with its iconic EV quadricycle, Ami Buggy, and the C3 Aircross. The latter can be found displayed at the Stellantis booth, which is known for its superior comfort, space,and practicality.

Morais said, “We see a tremendous opportunity to reintroduce our customers in Malaysia to the world of Citroën. The brand promises to inject innovation, comfort, and joy into your drive, and we are confident that our vehicles will resonate with Malaysians who appreciate a touch of Parisian flair.”

Not much is revealed at the moment; however, the model on display is built in India. As for the interior, nothing is known or revealed, with the windows painted in black.

We feel Citroen is only testing the waters for now, and its next move will depend on the auto show’s feedback.
