Lotus Eletre and Emira get a price hike in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: Lotus Cars Malaysia has released the updated price list for the Eletre and Emira models in response to recent fluctuations in the value of the ringgit against major foreign currencies over the past few months.

Lotus Eletre
Launched in Malaysia back in April, the Lotus Eletre electric SUV price has been increased by up to RM 50,000. The EV is offered in three variants in the local market - base, mid-spec S, and top-spec R. While the automaker has yet to disclose the new pricing for the base model as it will hit the roads in 2025, the Eletre S and Eletre R are now priced at -
- Eletre S - RM 698,000 (up from RM 648,000)
- Eletre R - RM 838,000 (up from RM 798,000)
All the variants of the Lotus Eletre come with a 5-year/150,000 km manufacturing warranty and an 8-year/200,000 km battery warranty.
Lotus Emira
Lotus Cars Malaysia offers the Emira in two variants - newly launched i4 First Edition and V6 First Edition. The former is priced at RM 1,095,000 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM 509,000 in Langkawi, however, a few limited units of the supercar are still available at the special introductory price of RM 998,800 on a first-come, first-served basis. On the other hand, the V6 First Edition new prices are as follows -
- Lotus Emira V6 First Edition manual - RM 1,289,000 in Peninsular Malaysia (up from RM 1,205,800) and RM 529,000 in Langkawi (up from RM 478,800)
- Lotus Emira V6 First Edition automatic - RM1,309,000 in Peninsular Malaysia (up from RM1,225,800) and RM 539,000 in Langkawi (up from RM 493,800)
Make note that the Emira prices for Peninsular Malaysia are on the road, inclusive of tax but excluding insurance. However, prices for Langkawi are duty-free. Also included in the price is a three-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.
Interested folks can catch the Eletre and Emira models at the Lotus Store, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur until September 30, 2023. The showroom is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm. From October 1, 2023, one can visit the Lotus showroom in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam, to view the models connect with the Lotus Experts, and access the on-site configurator. The Bukit Jelutong showroom is open from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 4 pm on weekends.
