Lotus Cars expands presence with 3rd Malaysian outlet in Penang

KUALA LUMPUR: Lotus Cars Malaysia continues to bolster its presence in the country with the launch of its third retail outlet.The new showroom, located in Penang, marks a significant milestone as the brand's first facility outside the Klang Valley in its 28 years in Malaysia.

This expansion follows the successful establishment of Lotus stores in Pavilion Damansara Heights and Glenmarie, Kuala Lumpur.

Strategically situated at No. 2A-01-02, Jalan Penang, Georgetown, the Penang outlet lies in the heart of the city’s commercial hub. Designed to cater to customers in the Northern region, the showroom showcases two Lotus models and includes a dedicated configurator lounge.

This space offers a personalized experience, allowing potential buyers to tailor their Lotus vehicles to their exact specifications.

The Penang outlet offers the complete Lotus model range available in Malaysia, including the electric performance SUV lineup of the Eletre, Eletre S, and Eletre R; the fully electric Hyper-GT Emeya, Emeya S, and Emeya R; as well as the iconic Emira series comprising the Emira First Edition, First Edition V6, Emira Turbo, and Emira Turbo SE.

Exclusive Experience for Emira Buyers

To celebrate the new store's opening, Lotus Cars Malaysia is offering an exclusive opportunity for new Emira customers. Buyers will be invited to a Lotus Factory Experience in Hethel, UK, scheduled for April and October 2025.

The package includes a factory tour, a drive on the iconic Lotus test track, gourmet dining, and luxurious accommodations, giving customers a glimpse into the brand’s legacy and performance DNA.

Payment Plans for Eletre and Emira

In conjunction with the launch, Lotus Cars Malaysia has introduced a limited-time payment plan for the Eletre, with monthly installments starting at RM6,388.

A similar plan is available for the Emira, starting at RM5,055 per month. Both options come with competitive interest rates and flexible terms, making these premium vehicles more accessible to Malaysian buyers.
