Leapmotor B10 to make global debut soon; here’s what we know so far
KUALA LUMPUR: At the upcoming 2024 Paris Motor Show, Stellantis-backed Leapmotor is set to unveil an all-new electric SUV, called the Leapmotor B10. The automaker has begun testing the EV and released its few camouflage images, giving us a sneak peek at what’s to come.

Leapmotor has not yet revealed the driving range of the upcoming B10 EV.The compact Leapmotor B10 is the brand’s first global model built on its new B platform. The said platform is a key part of the automaker’s global expansion plans; it uses the latest Leap 3.5 technology architecture and focuses on delivering hi-tech NEVs (new energy vehicles).
Last year, Stellantis acquired a 21% equity in Leapmotor leading to the formation of Leapmotor International, a joint venture between the two firms, in which Stellantis holds a majority 51% stake. With the exclusive rights to export Leapmotor vehicles outside China, Leapmotor International has plans to take the brand to not only Europe but the Middle East and Africa, India and Asia Pacific, and South America as well. Malaysia is also part of the plan, where the automaker will launch the Leapmotor C10 next month.
Coming back to the Leapmotor B10, teaser images showcase the SUV wrapped in camouflage with the "Leapmotor" name prominently displayed. On the front, the B10 features circular headlamps integrated into the front bumper and sleek, thin daytime running lights. The SUV has retractable door handles that not only add to aerodynamics but enhance its sporty appearance. Rounding off the look are slanted D-pillars and a slightly curved roofline.
Although the exact dimensions of the Leapmotor B10 have not been disclosed yet, its classification as a compact SUV suggests it will be smaller than the C10. The upcoming Leapmotor EV is likely to be a competitor to the Kia EV3 and BMW iX1.
Also, the automaker has not released any interior shot of the car, leaving fans excited to see what the inside will look like.
