KUALA LUMPUR: It was nearly a month back when Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur launched the Huracan STO at the Sepang International Circuit. And now the premium automaker has added a new variant to the Huracan lineup!

In total, the Lamborghini Huracan now has three variants on offer - the Coupe, STO, and the latest Tecnica. The latter is a good amalgamation of the other two models combining the Coupe’s rear-wheel drive and STO racing version’s naturally-aspirated powertrain.
The combo tickles down to the new Huracan Tecnica being powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine generating a maximum power output of 640 hp at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 565 Nm at 6,500 rpm. As mentioned earlier, the drive is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
On the performance side, the setup allows the Tecnica to complete the century sprint in just 3.2 seconds and attain a top speed of 325 kmph at full throttle. In contrast, the STO accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in only 3 seconds and reaches up to 310 kmph.
The all-new Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is slotted between a road sports car and a racing car. Making all this happen is the car’s reduced drag, increased downforce, and aerodynamics.

Exterior: A new bumper features Terzo Millennio’s black Ypsilon design, an air curtain, and a front splitter, redesigned rear with a new carbon-fibre engine bonnet, vertical rear glass window, hexagonal exhaust pipes, reprofiled rear bumper, and revised diffuser design. The car stands on hexagonal-themed 20-inch Damiso wheels paired with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres (front: 245/30; rear: 305/30).
Interior: Touchscreen infotainment system with several connected services & phone fairing functions, and height-adjustable sports seats. As optional features are available lightweight all-carbon doors, titanium wheel bolts, and a harness seat belt.
Performance enhancement bits: Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) a system that includes rear-wheel; steering, torque vectoring, suspension, and traction control systems.
