Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 unveiled in fashion in Japan

KUALA LUMPUR: Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 has been finally introduced in Japan, it is by far one of the most awaited Lambo cars ever with enthusiasts and fans going crazy over it since the news of its arrival broke.

Being the star it is, the Countach LPI 800-4 arrived in style. It was showcased in Tokyo at Warehouse Terrado, regarded as one of the most photogenic locations around. The pictures you see here will justify the claim.

What made the Countach LPI 800-4 debut memorable was the sheer presence of the 1989 Countach 25th Anniversary edition. Together the two cars made the day for everyone present at the event, as all 100 senators now have a memory for life.

Yes, only people were invited by Lamborghini for the event (including press, owners, and few others). The brand didn’t want to keep the even discreet and highly exclusive like the cars on display.

Among the brand representatives present at the event was Lamborghini’s Asia Pacific regional Director, Franceso Scardaoni.

The event didn’t end with the spectators viewing the on-display beauties, as the 112 units limited Countach LPI 800-4 was brought down to Tokyo streets and visited some of the most iconic places in the city and got clicked beautifully.

What’s all the fuss around this particular Lamborghini? Well, the Countach LPI 800-4 pays tribute to the original Countach that celebrated its 50-anniversary last year.

Also, the car has a massive fan following in Japan, the level of which can be traced back to its playing the protagonist in the 2004 Manga series the ‘Countach’. It is being said that the car's presence in the comic series dates back to the 1970s and that’s when it captured everyone's attention with its performance, futuristic shape, and scissor doors.

Speaking of performance, the Countach LPI 800-4 is powered by an 814 hp generating V12 rear mid-engine and e-motor combo. The setup enables the car to complete the century sprint in just 2.8 seconds and a double century in 8.6 seconds. It can attain a top speed of 355 kmph.
