Say hello to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition
KUALA LUMPUR: Last year, Lamborghini introduced the Aventador SVJ Roadster with only 800 examples planned for production, going to be a rare sight on the road. But here it comes a rarer version of the supercar, dubbed as Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition, limited to just ten units.
This automaker created the model to celebrate the brand's new virtual Ad Personam studio. The new studio allows the clients from across the world to personalise their new Lamborghini supercars down to the last stitch from the comfort of their own homes.
The design of this limited-edition Aventador SVJ Xago features many hexagons, which are inspired by the cloud patterns around the north pole of Saturn planet and the strength of the hexagon in nature.
Created in 120 hours, the exterior of the Aventador SVJ Roadster Xago Edition features a specially-created fading hexagonal silver effect on door panels and wheel arches, along with a distinct Ad Personam contrasting color livery and gloss black Nireo Ad Personam rims. The designers took 80 hours to adorn the interior with unique contrast stitching, and exclusive seat patterns. Each of the ten Aventador SVJ Roadster Xago models will also have a unique numbered plate, signifying its exclusivity.
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V-12 engine that sends 759 hp to all four wheels, 29 hp more than the standard Aventador's V-12. The automaker claims it can do 0-100 kmph run in 2.6 seconds and hit a top speed of 350 kmph. The supercar still holds the production car lap record at the Nürburgring.
From July 2020, interested clients can pre-book an initial consultation via their dealership, either with their sales specialist at the showroom or from any other location. The session will be of two hours, where the client will get the live design proposals and configuration suggestions from the Ad Personam team. It will be followed by the full proposals sent to the client, including renderings and material samples.
The Italian supercar maker launched the Ad Personam program in 2013 and later opened its Ad Personam studio in 2016. Today more than 50% of Lamborghini models rolling off the production line have at least one Ad Personam detail, which has tripled over the last three years, with Asia, USA, and UK as the most significant markets.
