Jaguar XE on the Malaysian website, debut still awaited!

Kuala Lumpur: Finally the royalty is here, British car Jaguar XE that competes with its German rivals is officially available on the Malaysian website. But, its debut presence in the market is still awaited. The Jaguar XE variant is said to be the most advanced, efficient and refined sports saloon car that the company has ever produced.

With the introduction of this astonishing vehicle, Jaguar has joined forces with the very best British creative minds. To which, once Sir William Lyons said, “The car is the closest thing we will ever create to something that is alive.”

Jaguar XE's advanced lightweight construction, streamlined styling, luxurious interior, outstanding ride and handling redefines the concept of the sports saloon. Under the hood, three engine options are provided to the buyers of Jaguar XE. A 2.0-litre Ingenium turbocharged diesel engine is made available in two state of tunes that churns out maximum power output of 163 PS along with the peak torque of 380 Nm. The other engine option delivers 180 PS of power and maximum torque of 430 Nm. The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine gives a power output of 200 PS and peak torque of 280 Nm, a 240 PS along with 340 Nm torque output. A range-topping 3.0-litre supercharged V6 delivers power output of 340 PS and 450 Nm.

The excitement of Jaguar XE's exterior design continues inside as well. The spacious cabin cocoons front seat passengers with a deep centre console creates a cockpit-like feel. All-new InControl infotainment system offers state-of-the-art technology to connect you to the outside world.

The InControl infotainment system is controlled by an 8-inch touchscreen with dual-view technology. The touchscreen can be used to interact with smartphone apps, and the system has a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. An InControl Protect function automatically calls emergency services in the event of an accident. High quality sound reproduction comes courtesy of an 11-speaker Meridian audio system.

The Jaguar XE was accredited in ASEAN market in the month of July and is targeted to make an official launch in Singapore by November end. So, the car may appear in its first official face in the Malaysian market in early 2016.
