Jaguar F-Type SVR out for testing
KUALA LUMPUR: If the automobile market is of the view that the Jaguar F-Type is rather placid, which is not true and it can be shown by the ultimate F-Type that is in the work. The Jaguar F-Type SVR has the R's 5.0 litre supercharged V8, which is adapted to produce a few over 600 hp. Huge spoilers are equipped on front and rear of the SVR with carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon-fibre rear view mirrors, which must be available in both coupe and cabriolet variants.
This extraordinary F-Type is manufactured by Jaguar Land Rover's SVO division that was responsible for cars such as the unforgettable F-Type Project 7. This is a totally brilliant car at work and the new F-Type's all-wheel drive system for the 2016 model makes this car an all-conquering product.
It is having a supercharged 5.0-litre rated at 575 hp, which is sufficient for a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.8 seconds and can gain a top speed of 186 mph. Further tuning may give output near about to 600 hp, with F-Type's new all-wheel-drive system, which is made available for the 2016 model. F-Type SVR's performance can increase many folds in comparison to its aforementioned rivals.

The roll cage is utilized only for testing purposes, although at some place more hardcore F-Type variants are present, which is similar to the previous XKR-S GT that had similar available options.
The Porsche 911 Turbo and the Mercedes-AMG GT in comparison to F-type variant, have a powerful output of 560 and 503 hp respectively. The SVR is expected to be launched in September this year in the Frankfurt Motor Show.
