Jaecoo J7 PHEV local assembly begins in Malaysia; launch imminent

KUALA LUMPUR: Ahead of the launch, the Jaecoo J7 PHEV has created quite a buzz in the Malaysian automotive arena with its impressive performance. As the SUV will be offered as a locally assembled model here, its first CKD unit has just rolled out of the production line at the brand’s Shah Alam facility.

- The featured kit also remains the same with key inclusions being - a 14.8-inch infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, 64-colour ambient lighting, Sony premium audio system, and wireless smartphone charging pad.
- The safety kit comprises eight airbags, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and a 540-Degree Panoramic Camera.
