Isuzu D-Max Auto Plus 4X2 launched, check full details

KUALA LUMPUR: As promised Isuzu Malaysia has introduced a new family member to the D-Max family, the D-Max Auto Plus 4x2.

Tagged as 'LEAN, MEAN, AND BEYOND' the new Isuzu D-Max is surely a powerful looking machine with looks that can give any other car running on the road chills. Part of its exterior setup is Bi-LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured integrated rear bumper, side steps, reverse camera & reverse sensors, to name a few.

Open the gates and you will be welcomed by an equally appealing cabin that sure has a powerful appeal but offers maximum comfort as well. Part of the cabin layout is a leather steering wheel with audio Bluetooth hands-free & voice recognition switches, a seven-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto support, six-speaker immersive audio experience, tilt & telescopic steering adjustment, e-LUMAX with colour display MID, comfortable fabric seats, and rear AC vents with USB charging port.

Apart from being comfortable, the cabin is spacious as well thanks to the D-Max Auto Plus' 60:40 configuration rear seat, multi-storage compartments, and 1.5-litre bottle storage.

Overall, the newest member of the D-Max family allows you to cruise in style and comfort.

Powering the D-Max Auto Plus 4X2 is a new 1.9-litre RZ4E-TC mill that pumps out a healthy 150 PS at 3,600 rpm along with a peak torque of 350 Nm from between 1,800 to 2,600 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

Isuzu has employed the D-Max Auto Plus 4X2 with a host of electronic driving aids that enhance its dynamic performance and sure-footedness. Included in the kit are amazing aids like -

• Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD)
• Brake Assist (BA)
• Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
• Traction Control System (TCS)
• Hill Start Assist (HSA)

This along with the pickup's well-engineered body structure has earned the entire D-Max lineup a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating.

The all-new Isuzu D-Max is available in the following hues - Splash White, Valencia Orange, Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue, and Mercury Silver.

The D-Max Auto Plus 1.9L 4X2 AT price tag reads RM 100,999.20 (on-the-road without insurance).
