Hyundai’s approved used cars now available at Sime Darby Auto Hyundai KL outlet

KUALA LUMPUR: Following the great demand for Hyundai used cars, Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) expanded the sales operations for Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme. Earlier, the company was offering Hyundai’s approved used cars through a single outlet located in Temasya Industrial Park, Glemarie, Shah Alam. But now, the service is also available at Sime Darby Auto Hyundai, Old Klang Road.

Upon expanding the reach of Hyundai Promise, Sime Darby Motors Malaysia, Retail and Distribution, Managing Director, Mr. Jeffery Gan said, “The growing demand for approved used cars under Hyundai Promise is in tandem with the growth of used car market here in Malaysia. Moreover, the take-up rate for Hyundai used cars is rapidly increasing especially for models introduced in the last five years.”

The KL outlet offering Hyundai’s approved used cars will cater to the need of customers located in the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur, added Mr. Low Yuan Lung, Managing Director of HSDM.

“We have seen good demand for our approved used cars. With two outlets, one in Shah Alam, Selangor and the other in Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur, Hyundai Promise offers greater convenience to customers in terms of accessibility,” he said.

Complementing Hyundai’s existing business ecosystem, Hyundai Promise Approved Used Car Programme is owned and managed by HSDM. Under this programme, the company offers pre-owned Hyundai models equipped with genuine parts and the original engine. Before approving and certifying the vehicles, a stringent and rigorous inspection is done by trained technicians to ensure that it is in optimum electrical and mechanical condition. These vehicles are also major accident-free.

All approved and certified Hyundai cars come with an extended warranty of two to five years depending on their age and clocked-in mileage. A 24-hour road assistance service is also available on these models.
