KUALA LUMPUR: The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has embarked on an epic "Go Far with Zero Worries" tour covering an exceptional 2,751 km route in 11 days across five ASEAN countries. The flagging-off ceremony of the convoy, which comprises five Hyundai Ioniq 5 EVs, took place at the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) on 20 November 2023.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 "Go Far with Zero Worries" spans 11 days, covering an exceptional route of 2,751 km across five ASEAN countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.From the bustling streets of Singapore, the convoy will navigate through the transcendent beauty of Malaysia, the vibrancy of Thailand, the cultural richness of Cambodia, and the historical charm of Vietnam. It will conclude at Ho Chi Minh City’s Royal Palace in Vietnam on 30 November 2023 after exploring more than 20 iconic destinations, including the Penang Heritage Walk in Malaysia and the Bayon Temple in Cambodia. The convoy took a halt at Sime Darby Motors City in Ara Damansara yesterday.
Organised by the Association of Singapore (AAS) and Hyundai, with the support of Hyundai's ASEAN headquarters, this tour aims to highlight the Ioniq 5's reliability, eco-friendliness, and long-distance capabilities.
The convoy consists of three cars from Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) and two from Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI). A group of 24 participants with diverse backgrounds, comprising representatives from Hyundai Motor Company, the AAS, Hyundai club members, local community influencers from ASEAN countries, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) from Indonesia and Thailand, will participate in this journey.
