Hyundai Creta delayed making out to Malaysia, contradictory to which, Hyundai Tucson is likely to reach Malaysia soon
Kuala Lumpur: From sources, we came to know about the delayed launch of Hyundai Creta in Malaysia. Speculations are made over the compact SUV that it will make a debut presence in the Malaysian market after 2017. Before the official launch of Creta in the market, research will be done, studying about its demand among customers.
Hearing the news, you must be wondering about the reasons which affected the launch of this Hyundai SUV in Malaysia? Creta, which is a specifically designed vehicle for the Indian market is aligned to European regulations, which Malaysian bound vehicles now have to adhere too. So, if you are looking forward to the compact SUV in the backyard, you need to wait a little while long.
Interestingly, Hyundai Creta received over 10,000 pre-bookings for its upcoming mass market in India. It topped 30,000 bookings within months of its launch. Even more, the waiting period for the SUV crossed long as 10 months for its interested buyers. A similar response was seen for the Honda HR-V in the Malaysian market, which, interestingly, is also a B-segment compact sport-utility vehicle.
Hoping onto the better side, the third-generation Hyundai Tucson is likely to arrive in the market very soon. Preferably, we can see its first face sometime this year only. On the similar note, we can make a shot in the dark for its popularity in the local market after seeing the success of CR-V being already transported on Malaysian roads.
Further enquiring about the engine variants available of Tucson, we have firm news for the 2.0-litre variant, similar to the American markets. Although, you might also feel the luckiest one to receive the turbocharged 1.6-litre T-GDI and diesel engine option offered in Europe, as if now.
