Hyundai Casper Van introduced in Korea with 940 litres of cargo volume
KUALA LUMPUR: With dimensions less than our Perodua Ativa, the Hyundai Casper little SUV made its official debut in September last year. This small Korean model received a huge accolade for its design and features, which also converted into a high number of orders on the first day of its launch in the home market. Now, the Korean automaker expands the Casper range with the launch of a two-seater LCV variant.

In place of the rear seats, the vehicle offers a big cargo compartment that measures 940 litres. Just like other regular vans, it also features a partition separating the front seats from the load area and metal bars protecting the windows and rear windshield.
Hyundai offers the Casper Van with two engine options - a1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine delivering a maximum power output of 76 PS and a peak torque of 95 Nm and a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder GDi unit with 100 PS and 172 Nm. Both engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels.
