How about a month-long expedition across Iceland…in Urus?

KUALA LUMPUR: Ever since it arrived, the Urus has been on top of Lamborghini's lineup. Be it for sales or popularity. The level of which can be derived from the fact that in just four years, 20,000 units of the supercar were sold globally.

If that level of fame and popularity weren’t enough, Lamborghini has taken upon an adventure of a lifetime for the Urus customers. A month-long expedition across Iceland, thus proving the point of Urus being a fully-function SUV that can take over whatever comes its way.

Called the Esperienza Avventura (Adventure Experience in English), it is just one of the several events planned by the automaker for its customers.

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann who is a participant himself said, “It was extraordinary to see so many Urus all together in a setting like Iceland, with so many different routes and road surfaces in which to put them to the test.”

He further added, Unlock Any Road, the positioning concept that customers recognize in the Urus, was expressed here more than ever: not only because of the different landscapes the cars drove across and the decidedly adventurous feel of the event, but also because of the multiple Ad Personam configurations offered on board the car, where the almost unlimited offering of colours and customizations become a reflection of the Urus owner’s personality,”

Few highlights of the Urus Iceland adventure expedition -

• The trip included 50 Urus customers from all across Europe and the Middle East
• Stretching over an entire month across Iceland, the participants drove 300 km daily
• The terrain included paved roads, tricky terrains, along with some of the most iconic locations like the Kvernufoss waterfall, lava flows, and the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon

The Urus was successfully able to undergo all the terrains, thus proving its capabilities and versatility. All this was made possible by the SUV’s added ride height, driving modes, sophisticated adaptive suspension, and twin-turbo V8 engine.
