Honda e:N1 EV bookings open in Malaysia, launching in Q2 2025

KUALA LUMPUR: Just like the previous year, 2025 also seems to be a big one for EVs in Malaysia. Among this year's several significant launches earmarked for the Honda e:N1.

The Honda e:N1 is an electric SUV that made its Malaysian debut at the 2024 KLIMS event. It underpins the automaker’s newly developed e:NArchitecture F platform and is said to be the all-electric version of the Honda HR-V.
As for the e:N1’s specifications, we can refer to the Thai market, where the EV recently went on sale.
The Thai-spec model is powered by a robust electric motor, tuned to deliver an impressive power of 204 PS and a peak torque of 310 Nm. The motor is fed by a 68.8 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack, which promises a driving range of up to 412 km (on the WLTP cycle) on a single charge.

The Honda EV runs from zero to 100 kmph in 7.7 seconds and hits a top speed of 160 kmph. Three available drive modes are - Normal, Eco and Sport.
Speaking of the Honda e:N1 charging, the EV supports both AC and DC power and takes the following time to juice up -

- Northern region - Ban Hoe Seng Auto – Perak, Vivahill Auto – Penang
- Southern region - Ban Lee Heng Motor – Negeri Sembilan, and Kah Motor Co (Tebrau) – Johor
