Hennessey Venom F5 completely sold out
KUALA LUMPUR: All 24 units of the Hennessey Venom F5 are gone, company’s boss John Hennessey told TopGear.
At the recently concluded Monterey Car Week in California, a pair of Venom F5s were put on display and it really helps the final few units and enthusiastic car owners meet.
Hennessey said, “Selling out is just the beginning of the F5 journey for us, our customers and our fans. Production has already begun, with customer deliveries starting this year and continuing through 2023.”
He further added, “That’s not all, as we’ve saved a few more surprises for the F5, including the Track Pack enhancements, plus something else that’s literally out of this world.”
On whether or not the Venom F5 is going into space or is it going full Fast and Furious 9? We’d say only time can tell us the answers to these questions.
What powers the Hennessey Venom F5?
All 24 units are powered by a 6.6-litre mill that generates a maximum power of 1,792 bhp along with a peak torque of 1,620 Nm. As per Hennessey, this one is the most robust power plant they have manufactured. Called the ‘Fury’, the engines had a heavily modified LS V8, displaced to 6.6-litre. It comes with a turbo pair with 3D-printed titanium compressor housings. Furthermore, the mill’s internal parts are lightweight as well.
Price
Well, each buyer shed $2.1 million (approx. RM 8.9 million) to secure the deal.
