Ford Raptor Rev postponed to February, more slots added for enthusiasts

KUALA LUMPUR:  The highly anticipated Ford Raptor Rev event, initially scheduled for January 11 and 12, 2025, at Sepang Circuit’s Bay 13, has been postponed.

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (Auto ConneXion), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, announced that the event will now take place on February 22 and 23, 2025.

The Ford Raptor Rev isn’t just an event—it’s a full-on celebration of the Ford Ranger Raptor's off-road capabilities and the vibrant community of its owners and fans.

Designed as an immersive experience, the Raptor Rev offers participants the chance to test the limits of their vehicles in a safe, controlled environment.

Highlights typically include guided off-road challenges, advanced driving courses, and adrenaline-pumping demonstrations that showcase the Raptor's state-of-the-art performance features.

Why the Postponement?

According to Ford, the postponement is aimed at ensuring a smoother and more inclusive experience for everyone attending.

The overwhelming response from Raptor owners necessitated a shift in dates to better accommodate the growing interest.

To address the high demand, the event will now span two full days, with 40 additional spots opened for Raptor owners, bringing the total number of participants to 90.
