The new Ranger is the longest, widest and tallest pickup in the segment. It also has the longest wheelbase of 3270 mm and the most spacious cargo bed. However, in terms of ground clearance, the Hilux outperforms its rivals with the most impressive figure of 286 mm.
As for water wading depth, the Ranger, D-Max and BT-50 offer the same 800 mm depth; well these are just official figures and it is not advisable to take the truck in flooded areas unless it’s an emergency.
