Ford Pop-Up store has seen over 3,000 visitors

KUALA LUMPUR: We had earlier informed you about the opening of first experimental Ford Pop-Up store tour in Malaysia and how it was designed to offer a unique experience of the Ranger to the customers, which normally is not available at a traditional dealership. We think the news spread like wildfire. Since its tour began last month, the Sime Darby Auto Connexion’s (SDAC) first ever Ford Pop-Up store has seen over 3,000 visitors so far.

The Ford Pop-Up store started its nationwide tour in the Klang Valley on July 20, 2018 and has now seen Penang as well as Kota Bharu. The unique opportunity to be immersed in a virtual reality (VR) experience involving the Ford Ranger, were offered to the customers who visited the Pop-Up store. This experience helped them discover about the latest technologies of Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning/Assist, that is installed in the Ford Ranger truck.

There were numerous fun-filled games and activities offered to visitors at the Ford Pop-Up store. The activities were not only entertaining for the adults but also fun-filled for their children too. The activity participants also had a chance to walk away with exclusive Ford merchandise. The unique store is daily open to customers from 10 am to 10 pm.

The still on tour Pop-Up store is scheduled to make its fourth stop at Setia City Convention Centre, Setia Alam from 10 to 12 August 2018. The store will then move to Johor Bahru, where it will be set at Sutera Mall from 23 to 25 August 2018. On 6 September 2018, the Pop-Up store will be at Aman Sentral in Alor Setar, Kedah, its final destination till the last day, 6 September 2018.

The Customers visiting the Ford Pop-Up store can also take advantage of the current ‘Seize the Deal’ campaign. This deal offers additional rebates of up to 10 percent with the existing six percent GST savings on the Ford Ranger, accumulating a total savings of RM 19,830. This promotional campaign which runs till August 31, 2018, includes other models as well. They are the Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost and 5.0L GT models, for which savings of up to RM 113,000 as well as the Fiesta 1.5L, with rebates of up to 17 percent can be had.
