While Ford Everest can generate a power of 192 hp at just 3000 rpm with its 3.2-litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine, the Toyota Fortuner has taken a back seat with its 2.7-litre DOHC engine with VVT-i which can produce only 160 PS at 5200 rpm. If you are a person who would just go for handsome looks and great exterior then Toyota Fortuner is your car. Ford Everest is judged to be a traditional SUV as compared to the modern-looking Fortuner. Toyota Fortuner stands 22 mm narrower than Everest but stands tall with an added 14mm. Ford Everest's huge alloy wheels measuring 20-inch for the titanium variant makes it look more sporty and aggressive than Fortuner which is anchored with standard 17-inch alloy wheels. Toyota likes its car to look more macho and that is why it has designed the Fortuner with a masculine body.
