Ferrari Purosangue SUV’s global debut confirmed

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, a new Ferrari SUV is just around the corner. Called the Purosangue, the SUV's global premiere is confirmed for early next week, Sept 13 to be precise.

Interestingly, Ferrari is calling the upcoming Purosangue an FUV (Ferrari Utility Vehicle) giving customers a feeling of possessing something special, out of the ordinary that is far from the conventional SUV.

The luxurious automaker first mentioned its new SUV four years ago while revealing its 2018-2022 roadmap. Now, after a long wait, the new Ferrari is finally ready, all set to mesmerize the auto world.

Though we don’t know much about the Ferrari Purosangue SUV, here is some info that has been confirmed. For instance, powering the new beast will be the brand’s 12-cylinder trademark petrol engine. That Ferrari's chief executive, Benedetto Vigna said after testing several options came out to be the perfect option for the market with their performance and driving experience.

Further the spiritual successor of the GTC4Lusso, the Purosangue is expected to ride on a platform that can cater to a hybrid powertrain. The four-seater is also expected to come equipped with - air suspension, an all-wheel drivetrain, and a roomier cabin.

Ferrari Purosangue’s production and delivery details -

The automaker is expected to commence the Purosangue’s delivery next year and will form just 20 per cent of its total production.
