Ferrari GTC4Lusso to Mark a Debut at the Geneva Motor Show
Kuala Lumpur: The Italian automaker is all set to welcome a new member to its family, which would be named as FerrariGTC4Lusso. Ferrari is planning to unveil this revolutionary car at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. According to the automaker, this car is inspired by the Grand Tourer concept which features a rear wheel steering along with a four-wheel drive. This is for the first time that Ferrari is building a four-seater with a rear-wheel steering.
While auto experts from various leading portals are speculating it to be a facelifted FF, the company hasn't given a clear view of it. Earlier in January, we reported that a facelifted Ferrari FF is going to make a world debut at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, but the new GTC4Lusso gives rise to a new question that is it the same facelifted FF or some other new car. In case if both of them are different cars then why this Italian automaker have planned a consecutive launch for this duo?
Going by the exterior, both of them feature a different design language along with non-identical bodies. The new GTC4Lusso has got a sporty exterior along with a low curved roof that provides extra space for all the occupants inside. The rear end is designed with Ferrari's signature taillights along with exhaust pipes that are further accentuated with muscular broad shoulders. Towards the side profile, it has got a beautifully sculpted body that complements its muscular wheel arches. If we look at the facelifted FF, it just looks like the older FF along with some styling tweaks. But Ferrari GTC4Lusso has got a whole new design language that doesn't resemble much with Ferrari FF.
Talking about the engines, the GTC4Lusso is powered by a 12-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power of 680 hp at 8000 rpm. On the other hand, it is being speculated that the Ferrari FF facelift would be able to deliver a maximum power figure of 690 hp. Although this duo would be featuring somewhat similar engines, but the power figures may definitely differentiate.
Looks like the Italian automaker is planning something big in near future. But the speculations about these two cars would get clear once they get unveiled officially.
