Daihatsu rolls out special edition of Terios, Ayla, and Sirion at GIIAS 2019
KUALA LUMPUR: Astra Daihatsu Motors along with the HY Fun Concept (a sleek hybrid) has also wheeled out a special edition of three of its cars - the Terios, Sirion, and Ayla at the GIIAS 2019. The three models share a common theme of yellow accents and dark window tint.
The Daihatsu Ayla is a green car and is the twin sister to Toyota Agya. As can be seen, it is also the sibling of Perodua Axia.
The Ayla SE is the grey hatch with body-colored front grille with a yellow stripe. The front like the rear also features a gloss black tint around the number plate. The rear spoiler and wing mirror caps are also done in black. Also, the yellow tint can be found on one of the wheels four parts along with on the side and under the rear glass.
On the inside, the car displays a yellow accent on the buttons and side air-con vent rings. On the equipment front, it gets a 2-DIN touch screen head unit with reverse camera. Besides, it gets SE carpets and black trim.
The Daihatsu Sirion, is the rebadged Perodua Myvi and it features an aero kit that is painted black both on the front and side. Similar to Ayla, the Sirion SE features yellow accents on the wheels, side skirts, and decals around the glass. The cabin features a 2-DIN touch screen head unit with Mirror Link and a SE carpet.
The Indonesian sibling of Perodua Aruz, the Daihatsu Terios SE gets a 50 percent chrome reduction on the front grille area. Leaving the front with two shiny bars connecting the headlights. It sure looks neat. The yellow accents can be found on the SE side decals, fog lamp surrounds, and rims.
Inside the cabin of the Terios SE features AC vents with a yellow ring, leather seats and door cards, a 2-DIN touchscreen head unit, around view parking camera, and SE carpets.
