Cycle & Carriage partners with Stellantis Malaysia, to sell Peugeot and other Stellantis vehicles
KUALA LUMPUR: Stellantis is one of the world’s leading automakers, formed from the merger of FCA and the PSA Group, owns a total of 14 brands, including Peugeot. The company has recently entered into a strategic alliance with Cycle & Carriage in Malaysia, a well-known retail agent for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the country.

Initially, Peugeot models will be sold at existing Mercedes-Benz outlets, but the company will ensure clear distinctions between the two brands.As part of this collaboration, Cycle & Carriage will serve as an official dealer partner for various Stellantis brands, starting with Peugeot. It is to be noted that Cycle & Carriage was the sole distributor of Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia from 2002 to 2007 before the Naza Group took over the brand's dealership in 2008.
The alliance is set to boost both companies' positions in the competitive automotive sector. Cycle & Carriage will leverage its established customer base and extensive network to drive growth and enhance its market presence. Meanwhile, Stellantis Malaysia will strengthen its foothold in the country by identifying key locations to ensure accessible, high-quality service for customers nationwide.
By the fourth quarter of this year, two existing Cycle & Carriage outlets will be renovated to represent Peugeot. The first outlet is the company’s 1S centre in Cheras while the other one is a 2S outlet in Batu Caves. The plans for expansion into the northern and southern regions of Peninsular Malaysia, representing other Stellantis brands, are also in the pipeline.

Stellantis Malaysia will soon be expanding its portfolio with the introduction of several brands like Citroen, Leapmotor, Alfa Romeo, and Jeep. The conglomerate previewed the Leapmotor C10 and Citroen C3 Aircross at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024.
