COVID-19 update: Lamborghini HQ has a vaccination centre for employees
KUALA LUMPUR: The Coronavirus has been here (on earth) for a while now and it will be a while before it is fully eradicated. The only way to fight is getting vaccinated, so everyone please get your dose, if you haven’t already. Contributing to the fight against Corona, Lamborghini has opened a vaccination centre at its Sant’ Agata headquarters.
The automaker initiated the vaccination campaign at its HQ after an agreement with the relevant national and regional authorities.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini on the recent initiative said, "The decision to set up our headquarters as a vaccination point for our employees aims to support the country in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 and alleviate the pressure on vaccination efforts in Italy."
The dose of the vaccine will be administered to the employees voluntarily, which as per the automaker will be completed in three days. The vaccine process at the Italian supercar manufacturer HQ will be administered by a professional health personnel assigned by the Italian Ministry of Health.
Apart from Lamborghini, Ford also contributes in the fight against COVID-19 by transforming its old Geelong plan in Australia into a vaccination hub. It has now become a huge vaccination centre for the general public.
