Check out the 2020 Corolla Altis with Drive68 body kit

KUALA LUMPUR: Thailand is known for its aftermarket body kits. After giving Nissan Almera a major transformation, Terstudio, this time, enhanced the 12-generation Corolla with the Drive68 package. 

For the 2020 Corolla Altis, the treatment is pretty much the same as the Almera. Interested customers can buy the four-piece body kit (front lip, rear lip, and side skirts) for 17,500 bath (around RM2,320), including painting.

Though the Toyota Corolla is already a sporty-looking car, the front-lip only amplifies aggression with several fake vents. As for the rear, it gets a chunky lip with a diffuser and quad exhaust tips. Add-ons like alloy wheels and spoiler will cost extra. 

The Thai-spec model also gets a Corolla Altis GR Sport trim that made its debut at the 2019 Thai Motor Expo. It features new grille inserts, 17-inch fan-style dual-tone alloy wheels, and a full body kit. 

Revising your memory a bit, the sedan is powered by the 2ZR-FE 1.8-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with Dual VVT-i. The said unit makes 139 PS at 6,400 rpm and 173 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The drive goes to the front wheels through a Shiftmatic CVT with seven virtual speeds. The engine comes with two driver-selectable drive modes - Eco and Sport. 

The new model is underpinned by the Toyota New Global Architecture GA-C platform. Compared to the older model, it measures 10 mm long (4630 mm), 5 mm wide (1780 mm), and 45 mm less tall (1,435 mm). The wheelbase remains identical at 2,700 mm.
