Celebrate Movember with Renault Malaysia: Health screenings, family fun, and car deals

KUALA LUMPUR:  In celebration of International Men’s Day on November 19 and the annual Movember event, Renault Malaysia is hosting a dedicated men’s health event this weekend at its Petaling Jaya showroom.

This special gathering, themed “Celebrating Movember with Health, Cars, and Great Deals,” will take place on November 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Renault’s outlet on Jalan Kemajuan in Seksyen 13.

Movember, the global campaign that turns November into a month focused on men’s health, encourages men to prioritize both physical and mental well-being.

The initiative spotlights critical issues, including prostate and testicular cancers, mental health, and suicide prevention, urging men to take proactive steps in managing their health.

A Weekend of Health and Automobiles

Visitors to the Renault Petaling Jaya event can take advantage of complimentary health screenings provided by MiCare and Beacon Hospital on Saturday, November 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Screenings include essential checks like blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and blood glucose levels.

Additionally, attendees have the option to get a cholesterol test for RM10. These screenings serve as a timely reminder for men to stay on top of their health this Movember.

Alongside health activities, Renault will showcase a range of vehicles, including the Renault Captur, Koleos, Zoe, and Megane R.S., with test drives available.

Those who participate in test drives will receive a custom Movember Renault T-shirt as a memento. Families are also invited, with a kids’ coloring contest scheduled for Sunday, November 17, from 11 a.m. to noon, offering prizes for different age categories.
