BMW Malaysia unveils Special Final Edition models for the BMW 218i Gran Coupé, BMW X3 sDrive20i and BMW X3 xDrive30e

KUALA LUMPUR:  BMW Group Malaysia has been rolling out a series of Final Edition cars recently, likely to make room for new models on the horizon. However, these Final Edition vehicles are not just about clearing inventory; they are among the best-equipped models, offering exceptional value for money. BMW Malaysia has introduced three such models: the BMW 218i Gran Coupé Final Edition, BMW X3 sDrive20i Final Edition, and BMW X3 xDrive30e Final Edition.

According to BMW Malaysia, these three special editions are made to commemorate the remarkable success of their locally assembled models. Each of these variants comes with enhanced features and sportier aesthetics, maintaining the brand's hallmark of luxury and performance while providing buyers with a highly spec'd vehicle.

Enhanced features across the board

The BMW 218i Gran Coupé Final Edition stands out with its elegant design, now featuring Shadowline with Extended Contents and 18-inch M light alloy wheels. The interior is upgraded with wireless charging and a premium 10-speaker HiFi system, ensuring convenience and top-notch entertainment on the go.

The BMW X3 sDrive20i and X3 xDrive30e Final Editions retain their rugged appeal and sporty charm. Both models now boast M Lights Shadowline and high-gloss Shadowline with extended contents. The X3 xDrive30e Final Edition also features red high-gloss M Sport brakes, adding a bold visual touch.

BMW's Shadowline is usually an exterior trim package that enhances the sporty and aggressive look of BMW vehicles by replacing the standard chrome or aluminum trim with high-gloss black trim. This package includes elements like window surrounds, mirror caps, kidney grilles, and other exterior accents in a sleek, glossy black finish. Shadowline trim provides a more modern and dynamic appearance, emphasizing the car's athletic design.

The Shadowline package is often part of BMW's M Sport package or available as an individual option, allowing customers to further personalize their vehicles. Like we said before, the Final Edition cars are usually packed with added features, not usually seen on its more regular liune-up.

Advanced driving assistance

These Final Editions are equipped with advanced driving assistance systems. Both the X3 sDrive20i and X3 xDrive30e now include Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go Function, enhancing their existing Driving Assistant features. The X3 xDrive30e also benefits from a Head-Up Display and Parking Assistant Plus, which offers a 360-degree surround view and Remote View 3D.

Colour combos

The BMW 218i Gran Coupé Final Edition is available in Skyscraper Grey, Black Sapphire, and Alpine White, with interior options in Black Dakota leather with Blue highlights. The X3 sDrive20i and X3 xDrive30e Final Editions come in Carbon Black, Alpine White, and M Brooklyn Grey, with interior choices in Mocha or Black Vernasca leather.

The new special edition variants will be available at all authorized BMW dealerships starting today, Friday, June 7, 2024. Additionally, they will be showcased at the Auto Bavaria AutoFest 2024, held at KL Base, Kuala Lumpur, this weekend from June 7 to 9, 2024, between 9am and 7pm.
