BMW Malaysia introduces M850i xDrive Coupe MY Edition; check details 

KUALA LUMPUR: First introduced in Malaysia way back in 2018, the BMW 8 Series is now on the receiving end of several improvements. Called the BMW M850i xDrive Coupe MY Edition, the model showcases a new design language both inside and out along with a revised (extended) standard specs sheet.

Let's now find out the key highlights of the new M850i xDrive Coupe MY Edition -

• As mentioned earlier, the car gets a new design theme which on the outside gives the car a sporty look
• The coupe benefits from the M Performance package part of which is the M exterior mirrors and the signature M emblem on the front grille
• BMW’s iconic kidney grille gets the ‘Iconic Glow’ lighting feature wherein the LED lights are placed in a way to provide a waterfall-like illumination
• Enhancing the car’s sportiness is the massive 20-inch double-spoke alloys wrapped in 895 M Bicolour with performance and staggered tyres

• The M Sport brakes in a high-gloss black hue further add to the car’s bold appearance
  the M Lights Shadowline and M high-gloss Shadowline trim accents
• Part of the new BMW’s distinctive profile is the M Lights Shadowline and M high-gloss Shadowline trim accents
• On the inside, the new M850i xDrive benefits from several high-end tech inclusions, like a 12.3-inch HD control display, a 2-zone climate control system, and a Bower & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system
• Taking care of the driver and passenger (front) comfort is the M Sport seats
• The BMW Individual treatment is a given with the “Merino” leather trim available in the following choices - Black, Ivory White, Cognac, Fiona Red, Tartufo, and Night Blue
• Exterior colour options include two stunning shades - Frozen Pure Gray Metallic and Frozen Tanzanite Blue Metallic

2022 M850i Engine configuration

Powering the BMW 8 Series MY Edition is a 4.4-litre turbo V8 engine generating a max power of 530 PS along with a peak torque of 750 Nm. The drive is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
