BMW 3 Series gets an upgrade in Malaysia; here’s what’s new

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Malaysia has updated the 3 Series lineup for 2025. The mid-size German sedan gets cosmetic enhancements, new tech features, and dynamic equipment improvements while retaining its hallmark sportiness.

2025 BMW 3 Series: Price

BMW Malaysia offers the updated 3 Series in four variants - 320i M Sport, 330i M Sport, 330Li M Sport, and M340i xDrive M Sport Pro. The prices are as follows -

2025 BMW 3 Series: what’s new?

Refreshed interior

The cosmetic updates are mainly focussed on the interior, offering the sedan a sportier and enhanced look. It gets a new M Sport steering wheel and 12 o’clock strap as standard fitment for a dynamic driving experience.

Adding to the modern finish are new geometrical air vents and updated finer grain on the upper instrument panel and upper door panel cover. Also new for 2025 are new geometrical surface décor trims exclusive to the BMW 330 Li. 

Enhanced suspension 

BMW not only enhanced the styling quotient but also improved the comfort levels. The sedan now features an enhanced suspension system for better control over open and uneven roads. 

Advanced technology

In terms of advanced tech, the sedan benefits from the latest BMW Operating System 8.5, with QuickSelect touch-oriented menu, providing easy access to key functions. The system is intuitively optimised for the BMW Curved Display. 

Adding to digital enhancements are updated Video Augmented Reality (AR) features for enhanced parking assistance and improved speech recognition performance for the BMW iDrive Intelligent Personal Assistant. 

New colour options 

The automaker has expanded the sedan’s colour palette by adding two new options - Fire Red metallic and Arctic Race Blue metallic. These join the existing range, including Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic, M Brooklyn Grey metallic, and M Carbon Black metallic. 

With the new 3 Series, BMW Malaysia offers a standard two-year warranty; however, customers can opt for an extended five-year warranty and service package by paying an additional amount.
