KUALA LUMPUR: All year round, the BMW M division celebrated its 50th anniversary by introducing several new and striking models and organizing gatherings & events. Now as the year is coming to an end, here is probably one last model that pays homage to the 50 years of BMW M.

2023 BMW 3.0 CSL: Key details
- It is based on the latest-gen BMW M4, obviously with a few extensive revisions
- The exterior is inspired by the original 3.0 CSL and features a large grille, bumper vents, rear wing, ‘batmobile’-like front fenders, rear wing, rear top wing
- The car extensively uses carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) which keeps the weight under control (used on the boot lid, bonnet lid, roof, and front & rear aprons)
- There is minimal use of insulation materials which also keeps the car’s weight under check
- The new 3.0 CSL rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, both with a center lock. Exclusively designed for the model, the wheels showcase a Y-spoke design and are finished in gold color.
- The wheels are wrapped in Michelin tyres with the number ‘50’ embossed on the sidewalls
