Auto Bavaria introduces a limited-edition BMW 2 Series in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: If you are looking to buy a new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, wait for a moment and check out this all-new limited edition 2 Series that is not commissioned by the German automaker but by the local BMW dealer Auto Bavaria. Only 50 units of this special edition BMW 218i Gran Coupé are available at Auto Bavaria dealerships nationwide.

The BMW 218i Gran Coupé Limited Edition price ranges from RM 227,800 to RM 233,800, depending on the packages you choose. 

So, what makes this special 2 Series different from the standard model? Let’s know.

• Auto Bavaria offers the customers three special packages to choose from. These include Aesthetics, Signature Sound, and Best of Both Worlds.
• With the Aesthetics pack, you get the several M Performance Parts enhancing the look of the car. These include a gloss black mesh grille, carbon fibre door mirror caps, a black boot lid spoiler and BMW M logo projection; all worth RM 8,888. 
• Next we have the Signature Sound pack, which brings on board a Harmon Kardon sound system and a Harmon Kardon Bluetooth Speaker.
• Third option is Best of Both Worlds that combines the accessories of the first two packs.
• Also part of these kits are complimentary tinted windows and a Sttoke reusable ceramic cup.

Other than that, the BMW 218i Gran Coupé Limited Edition continues to be the same as the factory model. It gets power from a 1.5-litre turbo three-cylinder engine generating a maximum power of 140 PS and a peak torque of 220 Nm. Shifting duties are handled by a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, which enables the luxury coupe to run from zero to 100 kmph in 8.7 seconds. The standard model is priced at RM 213,400 (on-the-road, without insurance).
