Audi Q7 teased in Malaysia, arrives by November 2015

Kuala Lumpur: Another beast from the pandora box of German automaker is all primed to set its foot on the shores of Malaysia. Audi releases another set of cheeky teasers of the all new Q7. The company has released some sneak peeks of the upcoming SUV. Although not all the revelations have been made about the car but the company is making it publicly known that the second-generation SUV will be up for a local debut sometime in November, and the potential buyers may go forward and register their interest before on Audi Malaysia's website.

The all new Audi Q7 was first revealed to the world in last December (2014). The German automaker has improved the model in certain ways. Sources suggest that the SUV is lighter this time shedding a load of 325 Kg from its predecessor claiming to be the lightest vehicles in its class. Although the reduction in weight has come with a little shrunk on the outside which is not much observable, apart from which the interior spaciousness is almost the same as in the earlier models.

The car is powered up by several 3.0 litre V6 engine options ranging from a 218 hp/500 Nm TDI turbodiesel to a 333 hp/440 Nm TFSI turbo petrol throughout Europe and the US, but it’s yet uncertain if these options will come to Malaysia or not. Currently, the original Q7 is on sale in Malaysia with a 272 hp/400 Nm having onboard a 3.0 litre TFSI petrol engine, priced at RM538,900.

It has been speculated that Malaysia could also get a 2.0 TFSI producing a 252 hp and 370 Nm which is nearly the same of the current Q7 model in Malaysia. It is still a question that, the buyers paying this huge load of money would be expecting this small engine. The all new Q7 also managed to snag one of the Euro NCAP’s highest possible achievements in its safety tests and was awarded “Euro NCAP Advanced”.

Slipping inside the cabin of the all-new Q7 will revive the euphoria of driving an Audi. The all new Q7 features completely revamped interior with new tech and design. This time, the old instrument panel is replaced with Audi’s new Virtual Cockpit featuring a large 12.3-inch 1,440×540 TFT display screen with graphics powered by Nvidia’s T30 processor. Apart from which the car is loaded with a lot of new features and technologies but still we’ll have to wait on Audi Malaysia to confirm, What the Audi Q7 in Malaysia is getting?
