Aston Martin Vantage with 'vaned' grille now available in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Last year Aston Martin celebrated the Vantage nameplate's 70th anniversary, and to mark the occasion the automaker updated the car's face with a 'vaned' grille. Do you remember? No worries, if you don't as Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur now has this particular Vantage with the said grille for its customers.

Speaking of the 'new' grille in question, it makes the car look more conventional than ever and gives the current-gen model the same timeless design aesthetics as some of its other products like the Vanquish and DB5.

What else is new with the updated Vantage? Well, the soft-edged grille with five horizontal slats (can be ordered in black or silver) is accompanied by redesigned front bumper and splitter. Also, Aston Martin has introduced new black emblems and 6 kg lighter 20-inch 'Snowflake' wheels as standard fitments for the updated vehicle.

In order to showcase these new/updated features to the fullest, Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has introduced a custom trim called the Vantage Liquide Crimson. The term 'Liquid Crimson' represents the deep red hue that covers the car graciously. On the inside, we see matching interiors wrapped in 'Caithness leather (the one that has been milled overtime for a softer and luxurious feel).

Price? Well, the Aston Martin Vantage Liquid Crimson is RM 173,000 costlier than the standard model. So, this one will cost you RM 851,000 (duties and tax excluded). And to our surprise, the first unit has already been sold to Dato Idrus Mohd Satha, who's well known for his work in the national education sector.
