Aston Martin bring black-beauty Dark Knight Edition to Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur (AMKL) has come up with a recent customised edition called the Aston Martin Vantage Dark Knight Edition. AMKL has always been known for its dexterity in terms of bringing the most attractive cars for its Malaysian customer base. This newest model is built on the footprints of Vantage AMR Malaysia Edition with a twist in making the front-engined sports car.

The car is amazingly stylish and mesmerising, especially with its black colour theme which includes matte black finishing on the front grille, quad tailpipes, and side grills. The Vantage Dark Knight Edition's smoked tail-lights and massive dark 20-inch alloy wheels perfectly pull out the crafty side of the British automaker. Behind these massive wheels lie the carbon-ceramic brakes.

The inside of the car is as beautiful as the exterior. The interior has nice trimmed Caithness leather and Alcantara upholstery, complemented with Pure Black Alcantara headliner and obsidian black carpets. The overall appeal is a dark-on-dark tone with metallic black finishing of the carbon fibre and dark chrome trims. With so much of dark coloured theme, no wonder it is called as the Dark Knight Edition.

Under the hood of the Vantage edition lies the AMG-sourced V8 engine which continuously supplies the rear wheels with 503bhp and 685Nm. Mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox to offer the top speed of 314kph.

The base price for an Aston Martin Vantage is RM678,000 before Malaysian duties and taxes. Though the automaker has not yet revealed that how much will it cost to register the Dark Knight Edition, you will have to loosen your pockets for a big hefty price if you want to add this British beauty to your lineage of sports cars.
