The Creta comes with a minimum of two airbags across all variants, however in the majority of the models sold across Southeast Asia, the SUV comes standard with six airbags. Its active safety kit includes - ABS, electronic stability control, ISOFIX, seatbelt reminder for front occupants, and pedestrian protection technology as standard. The SUV also comes with several safety assistance techs like - AEB City, AEB Inter-Urban, AEB Pedestrian, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, child presence detection, auto high beam, and blind spot detection, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist (RCCA) for motorcycle detection.
The Stargazer, on the other hand, benefits from dual front airbags, ABS, ISOFIX, seatbelt reminder, pedestrian technology, electronic stability control, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist. The car’s safety assistance tech kit reads AEB City, AEB Inter-Urban, AEB Pedestrian, automatic high beam, and blind spot detection.
Currently, both Hyundai models are not available in the local market. However, the Creta being already built as a right-hand drive model would make sense price-wise to enter the local market.
