All-new Toyota C-HR to debut on June 26

KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota has confirmed the debut date for the all-new version of the Toyota C-HR, i.e., June 26, 2023. Prior to that, the automaker posted a six-second teaser video of the upcoming SUV giving us insight into its design and features.

Here’s what the teaser revealed -

• The rear silhouette of the car sports full LED rear lights that extends across the car’s rear end
• An illuminated ‘Toyota C-HR’ inscription is positioned between the tail lights
• A shark fin and roof spoiler are also seen in the teaser

Prior to this, Toyota gave us a glimpse of the upcoming C-HR via a concept known as the C-HR Prologue. The concept just like the ongoing model features angular styling clues with a fastback-like profile.

The concept also features the brand's hammerhead shark look, C-shaped LED headlights, flush door handles,sporty-looking roof spoiler, protruding rear lights, aggressively styled rear bumper, and a pair of side-view cameras.

Also, at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2022, Toyota showcased the bZ Compact SUV Concept that featured somewhat the same exterior styling as the Prologue Concept.

Also, last month we saw a C-HR prototype all camouflaged and doing testing rounds on the Nurburgring. The prototype sported a fastback-like profile along with the brand's hammerhead shark look, sporty-looking black honeycomb grille, C-shaped headlights, a set of black wheels, and flushed door handles at the front & rear. It also sported a roof spoiler, shark fin antenna, and sporty-looking rear bumper.
