All-new Peugeot 408 up for grabs in Korea
KUALA LUMPUR: Back in June 2022, Peugeot unveiled a funky and electrified crossover, the 408, which slots between the 308 hatch and 508 sedan in its lineup. Later, this stylish French car was also previewed at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show which sparked the flame of its local arrival anticipation.

Peugeot Korea offers the new 408 in two variants - Allure and GT, priced at KRW 42.9 million (approx RM 149,494) and KRW 46.9 million (approx RM 163,433), respectively. Both variants are powered by the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged Puretech engine which is capable of generating a maximum power of 131 PS and a peak torque of 230 Nm. The power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
