Engine specification
As the name implies, the base variant is powered by a 1.9-litre turbodiesel inline-four generating a maximum power output of 150 PS at 3,600 rpm along with a peak torque of 350 Nm between 1,800 - 2,600 rpm. The top-spec model, on the other hand, gets its energy from a 3.0-litre turbodiesel unit providing 188 hp at 3,600 rpm and 450 Nm 1,800 - 2,600 rpm. Both engines are mated to the same 6-Speed Automatic transmission and 4WD system.

The all-new Mazda BT-50 is a well-protected pickup equipped with the same leading-edge safety features available in modern-day passenger cars. Both variants come with the seven SRS airbags, Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control System, Hill Launch Assist, and Hill Descent Control as standard.
