- The facelift version gets a robust design with a more prominent and upright square grille, redesigned headlights, and connected LED DRLs with inverted L-shaped signature
- Adding to the vehicle’s overall rugged look up front is substantial cladding and a chunky skid plate on the bumper
- The rear fascia is adorned with a new set of connected LED tail lamps and a chunky bumper while the side profile flaunts new alloy wheels
- The overhauled cabin of the new Creta is equipped with a redesigned dashboard housing new dual 10.25-inch screens (for instrumentation and infotainment system)
- On the passenger-side dashboard, there is a new piano black panel under which sits an open storage space with ambient lighting
- The car also gains a new dual-zone AC with a revised climate control panel, advanced driver assistance systems, and a 360-degree camera
- As for engine options, Hyundai India offers three choices, including a new 160 PS/253 Nm 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine exclusively available with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission
- The continuing drivetrains include a 115 PS/144 Nm 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 116 PS / 250 Nm 1.5-litre diesel
Hyundai Creta in Malaysia
The second-generation Creta was introduced in Malaysia in April last year. Imported from Indonesia, the SUV comes in a sole 'Plus' variant, powered by a 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine. Hyundai Sime Darby Motors may bring the upgraded Creta to the local shores this year.
