All-new 2024 Nissan GT-R facelift unveiled in Japan; gets several updates
KUALA LUMPUR: First unveiled back in 2007, the Nissan GT-R now enters its 17th year of production. What’s even better is the introduction of the all-new 2024 GT-R facelift which will go on sale in Japan in the summer while the United States will get the same in spring.

While the exterior showcases quite a few revisions, the cabin remains almost the same as before. As for the car’s power plant configuration, the 2023 Nissan GT-R continues to be powered by the tried and tested 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine generating a maximum power of 570 PS at 6,800 rpm along with a peak torque of 637 Nm from 3,300 to 5,800 rpm. The drive is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

As mentioned above, the all-new Nissan GT-R is offered in two special editions - Nismo and T-spec. Both of which we’ll discuss below.
The 2023 Nissan GT-R Nismo edition features a slightly re-tuned power plant which here makes 600 PS at 6,800 rpm and 652 Nm from 3,600 to 5,600 rpm. It also benefits from the GT3 race car’s turbocharger, enhanced torsional rigidity, beefier brakes, front limited-slip differential, a carbon-fiber roof for a lower center of gravity, and revised boot lid, front & rear fascia, bonnet, side sills, and side mirror housings. Also, part of the kit is a carbon-fiber bonnet, RAYS forged 20-inch wheels with red accents and an exclusive Stealth Grey hue. The cabin features Recaro bucket seats with synthetic suede inserts and Alcantara trimmed steering wheel with a red top strip.
As for the Nissan GT-R T-spec edition, it is available in two string tones namely, Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple. The model also comes standard with the following -
