2024 Porsche Panamera revealed with fresh styling and mechanical updates
KUALA LUMPUR: Porsche has pulled the wraps off the all-new third-gen Panamera in the global market. The generation upgrade brings a refreshed exterior and interior, a new active air suspension system, and an expanded lineup of E-Hybrid powertrains.

The new Porsche Panamera will hit the European dealerships in March 2024.Let’s know the changes in detail -
- The luxury sedan is offered in three variants globally viz standard Panamera, Panamera 4, and Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid
- While retaining the same silhouette as earlier, the Porsche Panamera gets Matrix LED headlights as standard, slimmer LED tail lights, new colours and wheel designs, including optional 21-inch centre-locking rims
- The HD Matrix LED lighting system is also available as an option that has an illumination tanger of up to 600 metres
- The top-spec Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid also features a rear apron with painted diffuser panels and a front apron in body colour
- Inside, the new luxury sedan offers a sportier look with advanced appointments such as an optional 10.9-inch front passenger display, a 12.3-inch infotainment unit, a cooled smartphone charging compartment, a 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster, a mannarino-style selector on the steering wheel, and redesigned climate controls and air vents
- As for safety, there is an enhanced Porsche InnoDrive system, which offers a higher level of autonomy alongside the Remote ParkAssist
- The Panamera 4 is powered by a 2.9-litre turbocharged V6 engine that produces 353 PS and 500 Nm, which is 23 PS and 50 Nm more than the outgoing version
- The range-topping Turbo E-Hybrid runs on a plug-in hybrid system combining a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 mill and a new electric motor which produces a total system output of 680 PS and 930 Nm
- The power is sent to all four wheels via the PDK dual-clutch transmission
- The sedan also benefits from the new Porsche Active Ride suspension system, which is a dual-chamber two-valve air suspension offering enhanced comfort and sportiness
The deliveries of the third-generation Porsche Panamera will begin in Europe in March 2024.
