2024 Peugeot e-3008 EV revealed; offers up to 700 km of range
KUALA LUMPUR: Peugeot plans to offer a comprehensive range of electric vehicles by 2025 and get 100% of the brand’s sales in Europe from EVs by 2030. In line with this, the French automaker has just unveiled the all-new electric fastback SUV, the e-3008, in the Old Continent. It is the first model to use Stellantis' brand new STLA Medium platform, which has been designed to “offer best-in-class performance.”

The 2024 Peugeot e-3008 comes equipped with either a 73-kWh battery pack or a 98-kWh battery, offering respective ranges of 525 km and 700 km.The EV will be available in two trims - Allure and GT with three option packs and three electric powertrains. The latter includes -
- A front-mounted electric motor producing 210 hp of maximum power and 343 Nm of peak torque. The motor is tied up with a 73-kWh battery pack offering an estimated driving range of 525 km
- A 320 hp dual-motor setup paired with the same 73-kWh battery providing a similar range
- A long-range 230 hp/343 Nm single motor version mated to a 98 kWh battery pack allowing EV to cruise up to 700 km on a single charge
Other key highlights of the new 2024 Peugeot e-3008 are -
- The new Peugeot e-3008 has a dynamic and aerodynamic shape along with a high-tech front end featuring a new grille, a new Peugeot emblem, and new light signatures
- It rides on newly designed 19-inch or 20-inch wheels with a new Peugeot emblem at their centre
- The EV measures 4540 mm in length, 1890 mm in width and 1640 mm in height. The boot capacity is 520 litres on single-motor versions and 470 litres on dual-motor
- Inside, we get a new curved 21-inch HD panoramic screen combining the head-up display with the central touchscreen
- Also part of the kit are ambient lighting, aluminium trims, a wireless charging pad, and a compact steering wheel with new controls and a heating function
- A full range of active safety systems are also available, including Adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function and lane-keeping assist, Semi-automatic lane change, Early speed recommendation, Automatic emergency braking with collision warning, Active lane departure warning with lane departure correction, Driver Attention Alert, Extended recognition, Long-range blind spot monitoring, Hill Descent Control, Advanced Traction Control
- Four driving modes are Normal, Eco, Sport and 4WD
- Six colour options - Obsession Blue, Ingaro Blue, Okenite White, Pearl Black, Artense Grey, and Titanium Grey
