Engine and performance
The non-hybrid variants of the new CR-V are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder producing a maximum power of 193 PS at 5,600 rpm and a peak torque of 243 Nm at 2,000 – 5,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a continuously variable transmission paired with a front-wheel drive system in the S and E and an all-wheel drive in the V AWD trim.
The Honda CR-V 2.0 RS Hybrid, on the other hand, comes equipped with the Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) mild-hybrid system. It comprises a 2.0-litre NA Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine acting as a generator and an e-motor, which combinedly kick out 184 PS and 335 Nm. The hybrid mill is hooked up with an e-CVT gearbox.

Exterior
The upgraded Honda SUV boasts a rugged design with a large hexagonal grille, restyled auto LED headlights, and new Volvo-esque LED tail lights. Parts of the standard kit are LED daytime running lights, LED sequential turn signals, LED fog lights, and 17-inch silver alloy wheels. With the E trim, the customers also get a hands-free powered tailgate and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The RS hybrid trim, however, sets itself apart from non-hybrid models with RS body styling elements, RS badging, an active shutter grille, roof rails, black side mirror covers and shark fin antenna, and unique 18-inch Berlina Black alloy wheels.
